Job Corps is a program that provides free education and training to young people ages 16-24. Participants in the program receive academic and vocational training, as well as job placement assistance and support services such as housing and healthcare. Job Corps centers are located throughout the United States and provide opportunities for young people to gain the skills and experience they need to succeed in the workforce.
There are three Job Corps Centers located in Alabama:
Montgomery Job Corps Center - Located in Montgomery, Alabama, this center provides career training in a variety of fields, including healthcare, construction, and culinary arts.
Gadsden Job Corps Center - Located in Gadsden, Alabama, this center offers career training in fields such as automotive repair, welding, and culinary arts.
Mobile Job Corps Center - Located in Mobile, Alabama, this center provides career training in fields such as healthcare, transportation, and hospitality.
